Robot is functioning

Hello everybody , I am proud to say we got the robot moving. We found out what was wrong which was the  motors , the gears inside them were not functioning properly.I would like to start by martin giving our group a little motivation and assistance. From there we started thinking outside the box and found motors and the equipment we needed to get the robot moving. In my opinion I my robots arm is better than anyone else's. To wrap this up were going to get tested as soon as our teacher gets the field and equipment,  were supposed to elevate the Tetrahedron and score as many points as possible and get started on the next assignment as fast as possible. Now the only thing i am mainly worried about is solid works. once we get everything clear  Robert and I will work together to get it done.

As said already we are only 2 people in our group so it is a little difficult. we cannot seem to understand why the bot wont work , we keep trying different things but it just does not function. we are a little frustrated but we can get everything done if we try our best. This week will be a rough week , I am going to come after school if i have too because i cant stand being behind. Robert and I will strive for an A. So as  for a fact my next post will be saying "I finished the robot" Because i will do everything i need to get it done.

a little lost

hello everyone , we now have 2 people in our group because sabrina has left . we are struggling but we did not quit. Robert has completed the bot on solidworks and just needs to add an arm to it. Besides that we are a little lost with our robot , we have no idea why it is not moving. we built it perfectly fine. we keep changing the batteries but it is still not woking and we are losing time. we still did not complete the tetrahedron challenge. we need to step up even though we're only 2 people. I hope we can continue and find the problem as fast as possible.

    Goal of the month

 Hello everyone , our goal of the month is to complete the solidworks tetrahedron challenge , the tetrahedron challenge and the new task Mr.Martin got for us to attempt this week. our goal of the week is to  finish as much as we can but more importantly to complete the tetrahedron challenge with an A , so we can focus on our next challenge. We are currently fixing the problems that keep giving us issues. In conclusion we are behind but we are working harder this week to get back on track and get these tasks done.

hello everybody  , we are still working on the goal of the week but we will get there. Solid works looks fine and roberts doing a great job. we have just finished building the robot and fixed all the things we did wrong to make right and more durable. The problem we currently have is the batterys which are not working very great. After 10 minutes into class we found out why it wasint working and thats because it was not connected properly. we will install a new motor now and our robot should working better than ever. altough I am worried that we might not have time to finish the robot in time so we can do all the tasks mr.martin requests us to do , we will still finish it and make sure it performs all his tasks properly.

Goal of the week

 

 

  Hello everyone , we just came back from springbreak  and we are going to finish building the arm this week. The day before spring break I have created an arm and it worked wonderfully but it was a bit longer than what it was supposed to be. we also need to program it properly because only 2 wheels of the robot and the arm would function . So our goal this week is to program it and make sure the arm of our robot will 18" or less . I will post another picture of th robot finished and on the field working properly , cant wait to see the results.
